heyy there, peeps!!
now, I saw a post on a friend's blog talking about typical Malaysians... Haaa? typical Malaysian ? what does she means by that? well, it basically means the normal attitude of Malaysian people that you may find practically almost anywhere in Malaysia.. and sometimes, when they go abroad, they bring that tedious attitude with them... You may deny it with all your might, but the fact still remains as such. among them... hurmm...
One example that my friend posted on her blog was the scene you see at any fast food outlets. where these longs lines awaiting for their order and you always have these type of people who, when in line would rather talk and laugh like hell and then, but when they reach their counter , they haven't decided yet. how annoying is that...? have you ever heard of pre planning...? you get angry that the line gets so busy and the counters take forever to process your orders, but do you have any ideas that you are contributing to it? erggh, the nerves of some people. and the part that I hate would be when you already ordered, and then you canceled it repeatedly and ending up with the choice you made earlier... Gosh! that can really raise my temperature .... they never think of other people but themselves. and how do you expect other people to help you later on? try as you might to deny it.. you might see some of these people or maybe .. I don't know... you might be one of them ... time is valuable and not be wasted by these types of scoundrels. :)
next one, is the common one .. they call it as 'Janji Melayu' ... A Malay's Promise... why oh why? why isn't it a Chinese's promise? or an Iban's promise...? that is because these only happens to Malay people... well, most of them... and you might find it among other races too, but mainly Malays ... ( Hey, Racism I am not! just telling the facts) What is the common thing among Malays? Time ... Punctuality... is never precise. Example, when they promised you at 9 in the morning, they might come in at 9.10, or 9.30 or even worse, 9 to them actually means 9 from where ever they are ... you see how bad this habit has become? I guess I'm not accustom that due to my different upbringing.. i was brought up in a military world, so punctuality means everything . so, hear me out here, people . please ... please show some good attitude and be punctual. at some point, people would be bored if they have to wait for you all the time. I know you don't like waiting , so why do it to others? sheessshhh ...
and the MOST COMMON THING is .... waiting for the last minute to finish up work... darn I hate this part right here. like i said before, maybe because of my different upbringing, i might have a different insight on this matter,, but i totally hate doing things up to the 11th hour. I hate that. If individual works, I don't mind coz every man is for himself. but when you work in group, have considerations on others. and doing last minute works, really don't help you much ... ggggrrrr ...... and bear in mind, some sacrifices need to be made. you can't expect other people to do your part for you,... and at some point, when you do group work, whicj one is important, sit down together an brainstorm to get a good benefit out of it or just decide for yourself and maybe go somewhere else? u might wanna go back home or go here n there or do other things. you need to know how to prioritize your work. you need to know which one comes first . if some people cn do the sacrifice , so why can't you..?
Think about it... deny it all you want but deep inside, you know it's true! :)
