4th day ...

Assalamualaikum semua ...

Today is the 4th day of my internship... and I enjoy it here. Time passes by so quickly cz ur doing wht you like and beginning to love. All those work are no longer a burden but more of a joy .. Thankfully.

I have awesome colleagues from different parts of the Earth and various experiences.  I am truly blessed to be among the great Lions ... really eager to learn more from them!

Memories

ku memulakan entri kali ini.

Assalamualaikum ..

Kenangan.

Payah nak lupa kenangan. Pahit, manis.. buruk , baik.. suci ... kotor.. hahaha .. ntah ape la yg dmerepekkan . tp betul. kenangan. mcm mana nk lupakan? seolah takde bnde pernah blaku...? seolah semua ny okay. seolah semuanya baik baik sje. mustahil.

kenangan... adalah sebahagian hidup kita.. biar sehari pun.. tetap sebahagian hidup kita. apetah lgi berbulan.. bertahun... nak buang mcm tu je? hehe.. haruslah tidak. org yg otak robot je leh reformat and continue on with their lives.

But I am just a mere human being.. If I could erase everything, life would be too simple with colours of the rainbow surrounding me. but that is not how life works.

I dont tend to forget the past, cz it made me who i am today. but i do intend to learn from it. so i dont get stuck at where i was and be able to move on, head higher. creating a future based on your present is affected by how you live your past.  therefore, see your past as positive and carry on to create new memories to help you move on and be stronger day by day.

I am thankful that i have a significant other who is very accepting of who i am. alhamdullillah. Saifullizan, you have no clue how much you mean to me. Thank you for every bit of wonderful memories we have. thank you so much!

Long Distance Relationship. Ready for it?

Long Distance Relationship aren’t always ideal. In fact, they’re really tough. You spend countless of hours just talking through a phone or through a screen. You can’t see the person when you want to or when you most need them.. You can’t hug, you can’t hold hands, you can’t kiss. You lose the intimacy in a physical sense. But then, Your relationship becomes based on each other and nothing else.

You learn to communicate,because a long-distance relationship without communication is nothing.

You learn to trust, because you can’t always see or know everything the person is doing.

You learn to sacrifice, because someone’s always going to lose a bit of sleep from the time difference.

And lastly, you learn to appreciate.

So often, we take for granted the people and relationships in our lives because we think they’ll always be there.

But When you only have a limited amount of time with a person,

you learn to appreciate and cherish every single moment you have with them.

When you finally see that person after weeks or months of seeing them only through a computer screen,

It is one of the greatest feelings in the world.

When you’ve waited for something so long and you finally have it,

you cherish it. The key to a long-distance relationship is faith.

If both of you are not willing to give up,

If both of you are willing to stand up and still try after every time one of you or both of you fall.

“Distance isn’t for the fearful, it’s for the bold ".

It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for the little time with the one they love.

It’s for knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough.”

13 Reasons To Use Educational Technology In Lessons

Sometimes you need to convince colleagues to think about using educational technology in their lessons, or to identify where in their scheme of work they could incorporate it.

This list is a starting point: you may find one or two points that would "resonate" with your co-worker, and grab his or her attention.

1. Where information and communications technology (ICT) is taught well, it has been shown to enhance pupils’ levels of understanding and attainment in other subjects. That’s because “real” ICT is more about thinking skills than about mastering particular software applications.
   
2. ICT can provide both the resources and the pedagogical framework for enabling pupils to become effective independent learners. For example, computer programs are available that adjust themselves to the pupils’ level and then set appropriate tasks and give feedback on performance. Used wisely, these can help pupils to move on.
   
   Also, newer technologies such as Web 2.0 applications enables pupils and others to collaborate in ways that reflect a broadly constructivist approach to education.
   
3. ICT places all learners on an equal footing. Given the right hardware, software and curriculum activities, even severely physically disadvantaged pupils can achieve the same degree of success as anyone else.
   
4. ICT has been shown to have benefits in terms of motivating pupils. That comes about partly through factors like being able to produce nice-looking work with no teacher’s red marks all over it, and partly because the computer is seen as being impartial and non-judgemental in its feedback to the pupil.
   
5. ICT enables pupils to gather data that would otherwise be difficult or even impossible to obtain. For example, data from inaccessible places (eg outer space), inaccessible times (eg overnight), from both overseas and nationally on demand (without having to physically go anywhere) or data at very precise time intervals.
   
6. ICT enables pupils to gather data that would otherwise be time-consuming or costly or both. For example, pupils can use the internet to get up-to-the-minute information on prices. They can use a DVD or the internet to watch movies of old dictators speaking, or the moon landings, or to listen to a piece of music by Mozart.
   
7. ICT enables pupils to experiment with changing aspects of a model, which may be difficult or even impossible for them to do otherwise. For example, pupils of Business Studies and Economics can see what might happen to the economy if interest rates were raised or lowered. Pupils can use webcams to capture the development of an egg or a plant.
   
8. ICT enables pupils to draft or redraft their work until they are satisfied with it.
   
9. Another reason to use ICT in lessons is because it can help to implement personalised learning.
   
10. Pupils usually enjoy using computers and other types of technology, so lessons which make use of it start off with an advantage (which is all too often squandered).
    
11. Educational technology puts the pupil in control (if it is well-designed), enabling her to personalise the interface, select and create resources, and even choose what to learn.
    
12. Just about every aspect of modern life involves educational technology; therefore, to not make use of it in the curriculum is anachronistic.
    
13. Because educational technology pervades all aspects of modern society, schools have a duty of care to ensure that pupils understand issues such as keeping safe online, protecting their identity, recognising good and misleading information sources on the internet, the effects of educational technology on communications and the economy, to name but a few issues.

thaank you for still visiting this old and rusty blog of mine ... alhamdullillah .. the semester is going good ... 2 subjects for the short semester ... and going well, hopefully ... heheheeh ...

so, alhamdullillah .. perniagaan itik kami makin okay ... belum ititk bertelur, sudahpn ada yang menempah ... satu tray .... 100 ... dan banyak lagi .. alhamdullillah .... murah rezeki... moga permohonan pinjaman kami dluluskan ... boleh la kami kembangkan perniagaan ... 

nov-dec ni praktikal ... tp sbnrny msih blom decide nk buat kt mne.. still open to any suggestion .. hehhe .. so far ad 3 tmpt.. but would have t sit tight n think it through .. salary bagai sume ... have to think .. 

on a side note.... I'm in love ... I really am in love .. Alhamdullillah ... sape sape ad my instagram can see my Significant Other .... moga allah memberkati .. moga allah bantu kami mengubati hati yang pernah terluka .. n moga allah bukakan pintu hati kepada kami bdua . :) 

on another side side note, YLA is going well I guess but i cnt come to the final presentation... cz they didnt inform earlier that they postponed the presentation.. so sorry guys ... but a fried from YLA offered a spot to help and assist in conducting an event in collaboration with the US Embassy ... and for once, i actually reached out to my other friends in other Universities. wanna feel how its like working with people outside your norm circle ... reached out to a friend in UMT, and planning to bring in that special someone to help too.. cz this is a project for younger generation, so mybe we need some of his charm to attract. heehe...

soo, i just go tback from KL for an awesome n memorable Studnet Leadership Summit organized by UCSI KL Student Council ...

so we stopped at one of the R&R ... Masuk la surau untuk bersolat ... bukanlah nak marah ke ape.. kami ke sne sebab ingin berkomunikasi dengan allah ... bukan utk memaki dalam hati ketika solat ... huhuu ...

jdi ade la seorang ibu ini ... dye x solat pn... hanya duduk dalam surau .. dengan anak kecil yang tak henti menangis.. kalau menangis secara perlahan x mengapa... i can take it .. but NO! Anak dye melalak kot... n i guess she wanted to teach him a lesson and ignored him until he keeps quiet...but he didnt ... he cried louder ... wht i dont agree is you know ur in a surau ... u know tht people are there to perform their solahh .. and yet you want to train your child there? it took her a solid 10 minuted before the thought of leaving the surau with her child... haaaihh ..

people, in life ... please you have to be considerate ...

Maaf la dear blog tersayang… dah bersawang.. berkulat.. berhabuk.. segalanya … al maklum terlalu sibuk sampaikan blog terabai…  heheeh … so… update terkini is .. sy di KL … J cuti 2 weeks … bru hbes final exam … nd risau … insya allah … May 2012 ni start Tahun dua! Moga dpermudahkan perjalanan … okaaay .. okay …

Tgk tajuk atas … ade cerita nk kongsi ni … ni pasal orang Melayu kita .. ta lain dan tak bukan … meh nak berkongsi ..

Al kisah … Jumaat malam, terasa nak makan dekat Chicken Rice Shop. So yang paling dekat pun dekat The Mines… so, kami tiga sekeluaga (me, mom n dad) bergerak la ke sne… tak tahu la tp The Mines mmg slalu penuh kaan… so masuk nk cri parking … *this is the best part* jumpa laaa satu slot.. TAPI… ad perempuan tgh jdik ‘model’ kt tgh tgh tapak tu so org lain xleh masuk… kereta nay takde… kira ‘Cop’ kan spot tu ahh … Daddy ape peduli … sepatutnya mana boleh macam tu… rezeki orang la kan … so bila daddy dah masuk spot tu … mula la sekeluarga ni bising … “Ape la.. org da tnggu lama ..” blab la bla… so… ini dialog kami ..

SAYA:  *keluar kereta* Maafla kak ye … FIRST COME FIRST SERVE … WITH A CAR! Maaf la ye….

PEREMPUAN A: ape laaaa… dah lama tunggu. Kereta ayah saya tgh pusing tu .. ade kat belakang tu je …

DADDY:  Maaf la … mana kereta awak sekarang?? Mana boleh main simpan mcm tu je ….!

MOMMY :  Kita tak boleh macam tu je … Dahla .. xpela… malas nak bertekak …

*kami bertiga pusing untuk beredar

Datang kakak/adik/makcik dr keluarga yang sama …

PEREMPUAN B : Takpe.. takpe .. biarkan je … MELAYU MEMANG MACAM TU … SOMBONG!

At this point, ibu yang dah jauh ni … PUSING DAN KEJAR PEREMPUAN B NI dan cakap depan muka..

MOMMY : SAYA NI MELAYU … AWAK TU HAPE? BUKAN MELAYU? MALULAH MELAYU MACAM NIE! *Perempuan B buat muka*

PEREMPUAN C (Mungkin Mak nye) : okay.. maaf la..  *nak sentuh bahu ibu*

MOMMY:  DON’T TOUCHH ME! MALU JE MELAYU BERPERANGAI MACAM NIE!

Time ni me n dad we were talking too.. tp small talks la nak balas balik mulut celupar makcik2 ni.. then … I hugged mom and said ..

SAYA: Dah la… kita ni orang berpendidikan ibu … jangan jadi bodoh mcm dorang…

PEREMPUAN A: eleh… kita un berpendidikan jugak ..

*we left… kebetulan depan tu ada kereta nak keluar*

SAYA : KAK! OIUHH KAK! NI HAA ADE PARKING NI HAA! DIRI LA KT TENGAH TENGAH NI JUGAK … nanti ade org amek!

Dah jauh sikit tu saya jerit lagi …

SAYA: KAK OIH..! DAPAT X? KANG ORG LAIN PLAK AMEK KANG…!

And so the drama ended there… so we thought..

Balik kereta… guess what … we found a long scratch kat kereta … da fuq la kan.. konon berpendidikan .. memang … pendidikan longkang.. maafla.. tp saya memang tak de toleransi terhadap mereka yang gagal menggunakan otak dan rela menyusahkan orang lain dan menyenangkan diri sendiri…

Keluarga tu memang dalam list pemerhatian saya… kalau jumpa balik… memang nak kena … tolonglah.. kita sama sama melayu … sendiri bodoh kata kami sombong ….

Ini kali pertama tgk ibu serang orang thu x.. yang biadap ny perempuan tu boleh buat muka … tak nak macam kurang ajar plak kaan … haaaiih …

Ouh well..

So dgr kata PRU13 5^th of May? Pilihlah yang terbaik demi Negara …  Itu je mampu nak cakap …..
